Events
The concept of an event seems so simple, yet, one of the most complex and and stressful (for some people) working practices. Beyond Groupthink or Collective Effervescence (CE), events are gateways to communicating, networking, and making connections that matter. It’s when people gather, each looking to engage it in their own purpose, that great exchanges unfold. Limbic resonance is real! Throughout my career I had the chance to work at and to create events that tackled current challenges.

Braziliarty
This arts and culture organisation promoted Brazil from 2008 until 2021. Braziliarty produced 67 events and promoted or contributed to 17 projects, working with more than 245 artists. Braziliarty even enjoyed the privilege of working at the V&A, Science Museum, and took the Press Awards Brazil for the Best Cultural Event (2012).
Purpose: To display and unveil the reality of Brazil through the arts; experimenting with various formats to challenge the status quo and offer a fresh perspective (and new opportunities) beyond cultural stereotypes.

Comida Fest
This Latin American Street Food Festival took place in some of the most iconic public locations in London between 2016-2019. In 2017 around 50,000 people consumed at the festival during its 3-weekend showdown during the summer season by the Thames River.
Purpose: To make the Latin American community heard and seen throughout London’s market scene. The overarching goal is to promote and support the community’s integration into the cultural megalopolis on multiple levels. By motivating social interactions around food and entertainment, employing artists. Financially, by giving an opportunity for business creation and development, brand exposure and promotion. And finally by creating an environment where curiosity and knowledge will create social bridges. Comida Fest used food, the arts as a tool to promote cultural diplomacy.

Climate Bonds
My opportunity to contribute towards climate change happened at Climate Bonds Initiative. A call got me in the last minute to start their first event in 2016, today the Climate Bonds annual conference has grown into a global portfolio of events in seven years. Later I was invited to develop the training service, that today prepares professionals globally to promote and develop sustainable finance. We have trained thousands of people in the private and public sector, from investors to bond issuers.
Purpose: The challenge is to influence the culture of investment through the events we produce and the training services. The missiosn is to drive capital into climate action with solutions for a sustainable future.

Project Based Work
Throughout the years, I had the chance to choose which projects to work with. Each is a journey of learning and achievement. And here are some that I am proud to have been part of it.

The first series of Campfire events happened between 2010-2015, and despite bot being involved any longer, the event sereis is back. But then, they were evenings when successful people in the arts, technology and business shared their life stories monthly at the Lighthouse, ditto tv’s creative agency in London. As the Cultural Ambassador at the time, I worked to shape the event to the audience, still merging our practice and focus into this social and inspiring event. We supported the radio shows, produced exhibitions at the ditto doors space and ran two student online festivals of music and film.

Elevate is a festival of political discourse, music and the arts that happens in Austria since 2005. Although my contribution was only in a couple of editions in the communications team, working with live interaction on social media during the talks, this is an event that has had a great impact on my life. Elevate is a truly transformational event, which raised my awareness and knowledge about several relevant topics and got me in touch with extraordinary people, doers much needed in our world.
